Pork producers attending the National Pork Industry Forum in Anaheim, CA were interested in the outcome of the Arizona ballot initiative that banned the use of gestation stalls and veal crates. Although livestock and farming organizations campaigned vigorously and decreased the margin significantly from early polls, the measure passed with a 62 percent majority.
